Q. Will I be able to access my ETFCU account at a Liberty Financial branch?

A. Yes. Liberty Financial is a division of ETFCU. You will be able to access your accounts at Liberty Locations the same as you would at any other ETFCU branch.

Q. Why will ETFCU’s new locations outside of the Evansville area be branded as Liberty Financial?

A. Liberty Financial, a division of ETFCU, has been doing business in the Nashville, Bowling Green, and Louisville markets for many years as a mortgage company. When ETFCU purchased Liberty Financial in 2016, we decided to maintain the established Liberty brand in those markets. Today, we are expanding on the services provided in those areas.

Q. How will the launch of Liberty Financial locations affect me?

A. The launch of these full-service Liberty Financial offices have little to no impact on most ETFCU members, but they will be advantageous for many ETFCU members in or near the Nashville, Bowling Green, and Louisville markets. In the future, some communications may include both the ETFCU and Liberty Financial logos. But in general, communications will be separate. Liberty Financial will serve members with a separate website, online banking, and mobile banking app.

Q. Can I access my ETFCU account(s) via Liberty Financial’s online and mobile banking services?

A. No. Despite the fact that Liberty Financial is a division of ETFCU, we will operate the digital banking services of these two divisions separately.

Your deposits are federally insured by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund to at least $250,000 and backed by the full faith and credit of the United States Government. Evansville Teachers Federal Credit Union (ETFCU) operates branches and facilities under the ETFCU and Liberty Financial brands. Funds held at ETFCU and Liberty Financial are not separately insured.
