ETFCU opens third Liberty Financial Louisville office

Liberty Financial, a division of ETFCU, opened its third location in Louisville on October 15, 2019, in an extensively remodeled former bank location at 721 Blankenbaker Parkway.

The branch near Southeast Christian Church’s main campus encompasses 3,200 square feet and includes a concierge desk, tech tables, two drive-through lanes and an ATM. The Blankenbaker location joins Liberty Financial offices in St. Matthews (4220 Shelbyville Road) and Hurstbourne (1200 Forest Bridge Road), with additional Louisville branches in the planning stages.

Liberty Financial also has a full-service office in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and two in Franklin, Tennessee, with three more under construction in the Greater Nashville area. It is a Division of Evansville (Indiana) Teachers Federal Credit Union, which operates one office in Henderson, Kentucky, two in Owensboro, Kentucky, and an additional 13 in southwestern Indiana.

The credit union includes nearly 220,000 members and has assets of more than $1.8 billion, and was recognized nationally by Forbes in its Best-in-State Banks and Credit Unions for both 2018 and 2019.

The Blankenbaker Office is managed by Tony Ware, whose 16 years in banking include roles as branch manager at both Chase and US Bank. The 2005 University of Louisville graduate is active with Junior Achievers and Men of Quality. He is a member of Bates Memorial Baptist Church, and was recognized in 2014 for Who’s Who in Louisville for Business.

The office is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, and 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday. Additional information is posted online at www.liberty.financial and the office can be reached at (502) 830-9235.
